In this training, you will learn about what immunity is, how ageing impacts immunity, the role diet plays, micronutrients required for the immune system, and the role of probiotics, sugar and herbal supplements as well as food safety and menu planning.
Advanced FoodCare Training
This is an Advanced course that teaches in-depth, topic specific content. It will take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete this training.

You can earn a certificate for this FoodCare Immunity & Nutrition Training by passing the quiz (answer at least 80% of all questions correctly). Certificates will automatically be issued at the end and will also be emailed to you.
Who Developed this Training
The content for this training module was developed by Liz Beaglehole, a New Zealand Registered Dietitian working with Canterbury Dietitians, in collaboration with our Dietitians Jess Bowden and Nicole Taylor.
Your Instructor
Liz Beaglehole is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, with a Post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics (with distinction) and a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science from the University of Otago (majoring in Human Nutrition and Food Service Management). Liz has obtained New Zealand Qualifications Authority Unit Standards; 167, 168 and 20666 (food safety) and Unit Standards 11281 and 4098 (assess candidate performance).
Liz provides food service and clinical dietitian services to a variety of residential care facilities including; rest homes, hospitals, community based homes, and residential schools.
Liz teamed up with The Pure Food Co to develop this training.
